Thank Troggg You’re Here: A Puppet Impro Spectacular! is a comedy variety show combining short-form improvised theatre scenes (think Whose Line Is It Anyway?) with puppetry in the TV style of Jim Henson (The Muppets, Sesame Street).
Puppets are projected onto a movie screen, with puppeteers performing live on stage below them.
Performers improvise outside their own body and into the body of a puppet, playing within the space framed by a video camera’s lens.
The audience can watch the puppets projected onto the screen while also watching the performers live on stage below them.
Thank Troggg enjoyed a successful season in May 2014 at Mowbraytown Hall (East Brisbane) as part of the Anywhere Theatre Festival and was later performed at New Globe Theatre (Fortitude Valley).
This is a full cast production with complex technical elements. We perform this show only in theatres, cinemas or halls with seating. An inbuilt projection screen is always a bonus.
