Yes, puppets! It’s like your furry friends from Sesame Street and The Muppets have come to visit your local school fete or carnival. But these are Brisbane-based puppet characters being performed in that style.
Brett Hansen, Elissa Jenkins (and their troupe of friendly and funny puppet characters) are puppeteer entertainers providing quality entertainment and fun for children and parents at all kinds of Brisbane fetes and festivals, as well as on the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Ipswich.
These puppet shows feature lots of colour, songs, games, skits and plenty of laughs for the kids and adults alike.

Description:
On the day:
Puppeteers arrive about 75 minutes before the puppet show’s starting time to set up the stage, sound equipment, props and puppets. The show (as described above) is performed for 30 minutes, followed by the additional 5 minute “how the puppets work” demonstration, and a 10 minute meet and greet. The puppeteer then packs up the stage and other equipment.
Inclusions:
- 30 minute puppet show of songs, games, jokes and comical interaction with the audience.
- 5-10 minute “how the puppets work” demonstration
- 5-10 minute puppet meet-and-greet / Photo opportunity with Troggg.
- Time allowance for travel to and from, set-up and pack-up of the puppet theatre, props, puppets and sound equipment.
- Rehearsal time prior to the event.
- Quality characters.
- Quality puppetry.
Brett has a current blue card, is fully insured, professional, and punctual.
Larrikin Puppets performed at two years worth of the annual Brisbane Zombie Walk, and twice at the Crazy Kids School Holiday Fun festival. We have also appeared at school fetes, church fetes, Relay For Life events, open days, and more.
