Whether you're after entertainment for a birthday party, childcare centre, festival, library or shopping centre, Troggg the blue monster and his furry Larrikin Puppets friends are some of the funniest children's entertainers Sunshine Coast has ever seen!
With songs, jokes, games, skits and live audience interaction, these puppet shows are quite reminiscent of The Muppets and Sesame Street due to the style of puppetry that we perform. But our own loveable and original characters – Troggg, Flossy, Frizzby, Moss, Frazzamatazz and an assortment of animals and things – are the stars of the show.
After the puppet show, we emerge from behind the puppet stage to present a demonstration about how all the puppets work. Kids are always fascinated to learn what makes these characters come to life. Our puppet characters are of the same style as the late, great Jim Henson’s Muppets – seen on Sesame Street, The Muppet Show (and movies), Fraggle Rock and more.
Then we have a meet-and-greet session with Troggg and Flossy. Kids and parents love giving Troggg a high five and taking photos and selfies with him!
The puppet show, plus the additional “How the puppets work” presentation, meet-and-greet and photo time usually lasts around 45 minutes.
We arrive to set up the puppet stage, sound equipment, props and puppets about 45 minutes before show time. Then pack down is around 30 minutes afterwards, making the total visiting time around 2 hours. The cost also takes into consideration travel time to and from the event.
Have a look at all the different packages we have (parties, childcare centres, schools, festivals, workshops, etc.) from our drop-down menu to see details and costs. Then send through a booking enquiry.
We recently lived in the USA for three months, where we undertook professional development and formal training with puppeteers from The Muppets and Sesame Street. And now we’re back in Australia to entertain everybody in Noosa, Maroochydore, Caloundra, Nambour, Maleny, Coolum, Kawana Waters, Buderim, Pelican Waters, Landsborough and all other areas around the Sunshine Coast.
We’ve performed puppet shows at birthday parties in Palmwoods and Woorim, childcare centres in Beerwah, Woombye and Sippy Downs, Bunnings in Morayfield, a dance school on Bribie Island, and public events at the Tewantin Noosa RSL, the Redcliffe Sails Festival, Day For Duke at Bongaree, and at the Woodford Folk Festival 2016-17!
We love performing Sunshine Coast puppet shows because we’re locals!
We have current Blue Cards and public liability insurance.
