Hands In The Air: Puppet Show Stage Spectacular takes Larrikin Puppets and its cast of comical, loveable puppets into a controlled theatre environment with lighting and tech that will dazzle an audience eager for innovative, high-quality family entertainment.

Creative contemporary elements include Film & TV monitor puppetry and UV black light puppetry.
Film & TV Monitor Puppetry
Puppets are projected onto a movie screen, with puppeteers Brett and Elissa performing live on stage beside or below them. Performers act outside of their own body and into the body of a puppet, playing within the space framed by a video camera’s lens. The audience can watch the puppets projected onto the screen, as well as the performers live on stage below them.
UV Black Light Puppetry
With the theatre in darkness or darkened, specially designed puppet characters glow in the dark under the UV lights. Black light puppetry provides an opportunity for puppeteers to hide in the darkness while the puppets, quite literally, shine. UV black light puppetry not possible in daylit performance spaces.
Performance Space
We can perform Hands In The Air at night time in a theatre (e.g. cruise ship, resort or performing arts theatre) or by day in a darkened, indoor function room or theatre with professional stage lights (e.g. RSL, performing arts theatre, school theatres). We provide the UV black lights. Some support with stage lighting may be required. UV black light puppetry not possible in daylit performance spaces.
